4 Quick Reasons Why Tea Is Better Than Coffee

4 Quick Reasons Why Tea Is Better Than Coffee

A lot of people like to start their day with a cup of coffee, but at Kabaki we start our mornings with TEA! There are so many health benefits to drinking tea over coffee! Whether you switch out a day or two or are ready to give up the black bean entirely, we wanted to share how swapping a cup-a-joe for a delicious tea can make a big difference!

1. You are likely to get more antioxidants from tea than fruit and vegetables

In short, antioxidants make you feel fantastic AND look fantastic! Antioxidants help protect our cells, keep our bodies running smoothly, and with less wear-and-tear on our organs (and our largest organ: our skin!) Purple tea has more antioxidants than both green and black tea. Ready to make the switch?

2. Tea helps reduce stress: which is better for your health, mind, and wellness!

Tea is, without a doubt, tasty and refreshing, but did you know that it can significantly reduce stress? If you’re feeling a little low, perhaps drinking a nice cup of tea can help boost your mood! Tea also provides mental clarity and alertness without making you feel a heavy crash after drinking. If you’re looking for a beverage that keeps you motivated and going, tea is the one.

3. Tea can help strengthen your immune system

Studies have shown that purple tea can help strengthen your immune system, which is no surprise since it’s loaded with powerful antioxidants! Tea also helps improve digestion and detoxify the body, which helps the body focus on fighting bacteria and viruses.

4. Tea tastes nice, and is hydrating at the same time!

What’s better than enjoying a delicious, leafy beverage that keeps you hydrated and healthy? I say it’s a perfect way to start your day!

 5. Last, but definitely not least: nobody ever has “coffee parties” ;)

I hope you’re now #TeamTea over #TeamCoffee; we truly believe the benefits of tea are endless!
