It was 2012, when the Kabaki family established the non-profit
Kijiji Medical Clinic in Naivasha, Kenya near the purple tea growing region of Meru.
Seeing a natural connection between providing local healthcare and expanding wellness around the world, the Kabaki family started KABAKI Kenyan Purple Tea. As the tea delivers antioxidant benefits globally, funds are brought back to the Kijiji Clinic so it can help more patients with expanded services like X-ray radiology, blood analysis, kidney dialysis, ultrasound, and mammography. A sustainable organic farm is also on the horizon to feed clinic patients while supporting the larger community with sales and job opportunities.
One person's refreshment creates another's life-saving support. It's how KABAKI Kenyan Purple Tea makes quality healthcare accessible to underserved Kenyan communities.
